FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What are LEDs?
LED (Light Emitting Diode) are small lights that when properly encased are fully waterproof and shatterproof.
LED’s are different from ordinary light bulbs because they do not have a filament to break or burn out.
Our LEDs have been tested for performance and durability in extreme heat and vibration.
Where can LEDs be used?
LEDs can be used on motorcycles and automobiles including engine compartments, exterior tanks, interiors areas, speakers, trunk space as well as to add awesome ground affects. LEDs can also be used on boats to safely light up steps, walkways, gunwales, live wells, instrument panels and living quarters.
Are the LED casings easy to see?
The LEDs are so small they are not a distraction. When installed properly no one will know you have lights on your bike until you turn them “on”. We use your vehicles chrome, polished aluminum and paint to bounce and reflect light to provide illumination just where you want it.
How much power does an LED need or use?
LEDs only use milliamps of power (unlike neon that uses full amperage and drains your battery quickly). That means that LEDs can be used as accent lighting as well as safety lighting without running down your battery.
LEDs are 12-volt rated and a transformer is NOT required.
